“ I'm ashamed to say I've lived here for 10 years and only tried Carter's for the very first time this evening. It was excellent. Side salad was perfectly crisp. Steak was well-seasoned and cooked medium rare. Delicious! Baked potato was small but cooked just right. I know it's a potato, but sometimes baked potatoes can taste stale or mushy. This one was spot on. Don't pass on the homemade desserts. ”

Boo got the flounder he ate all of it. He loves the oyster rock. I don't like them. I can't eat them or I will get sick. He didn't order any tonight. It was easy in and out. We went around 830 with no crowd. We eat here a lot. It's a mom-and-pop restaurant in the area. ”

The staff is so nice the food is excellent with new specials every week and most are different types of food and seafood for variety and delicious desserts. They have huge area private for parties and also have a bar to sit and talk unwind relax. I would tell anyone with it without children to go . ”

“ My wife and I had dinner tonight at Carter's. I was referred there by the owner of NorthSide Mulch just down the road on Hwy 9. The food and service was excellent! My wife got a 12oz ribeye that was cooked perfectly as well as my beef tips that were smothered in gravy, onions, green peppers and mushrooms . The French Onion soup was good a long with the loaded baked potato. The side salad and broccoli was what you would typically expect which was just fine. Very nice well kept and clean establishment. Leaps and bounds better than a chain steak house. I definitely recommend. ”

“ Always a good place for a hot meal and good service, they do a good job getting steaks right. If you want rare steak 99.9% of the time they don't mess up. Same with asking for extra crispy fries. The appetizers are delicious. I definitely recommend potato skins with chives. They are generous with the bacon and cheese. I'm not a huge desert person, but I've gotten a couple delicious ones here. Great for a glass of wine or a beer as well, I haven't experimented with the fully stocked bar, but I'd say they would probably not have any issues mixing something delicious, never disappointed. ”
